A mist calcium inhibitor filter is recommended for use on any mist system and should be changed annually. This filter protects the misting system in two ways; it stops solid sediments, as small as 5 microns, from passing through the system, clogging the nozzle orifice, and coats smaller particulates with polyphosphates which enables them to pass easily through the nozzle orifice without forming blockages. A mist filter prolongs the life of the mist nozzle and inhibits nozzle clogging.
